Oh, wow….I have let the bitch-in and gripe-in lapse haven't I? Well here are some good ones for you:
Why, oh why are some people the type that always have to see the glass as half-empty instead of half-full? Yes, going through a deployment sucks but guess what, YOU are not the only one. I have one girl that is so negative about EVERYTHING. No, that is not an exaggeration…she really can't find the light in the freaking sun! Also, the smallest things to her are huge catastrophes. For example the other day she called to ask if I was going to this deployment meeting thing that was being held that night. I said that yes I was coming. She proceeded to say "Thank God because I need to talk to someone, this has just been a HORRIBLE day." Let's see….my definition of horrible day would be: someone died, money problems, lost keys, car accident, etc. Nope…her super awful day was because her cat wrapped a string around his foot and she had to drive to 4 different vets before anyone would see him and treat him for…what? String around foot: remove, treat any wounds and go on with life. Don't get me wrong I love my dogs but I am not about to go pay god-knows-how-much to treat a string wound? Give me a break!
Speaking of animals….my lovely mastiff/lab mix who is just a big lover, has killed yet another cat. This would be his 10th. Before you go all "lock your beast up" on me…please note that we got a HUGE backyard so that we can have big dogs and they can run around, they never leave or try to leave their yard (it is fenced in), they are my first line security system since I am sort of out in the middle of nowhere and with my husband deployed it is nice to have them out there to bark and let me know what is going on…so, if you are a cat-lover….I suggest you move on because I really couldn't give two-shits about the massive amounts of stray cats in our area. Some tree-hugging hippie once told me that I should catch all the strays and pay to have them fixed…uh, I don't know how much tree-huggers make but I don't make enough (or let's me honest, care enough) to provide this service. Thanks for killing another Axl…besides the yucky-ness of cleaning it up, you are doing a great job!
How about a little note on TRUE FRIENDS. I love how some people say they have oh-so-many friends but in reality we all have those few friends that a true friends. You know, the ones that you call first for everything: big news, bad news, sad news, etc. There are those friends that you can call up and tell them about your bad day and they just GET IT….even if nobody else does? One of my friends was screwed over recently by another "friend" of hers and that girl doesn’t even get what she did. The bottom line should be: you messed up and instead of admitting it you acted like a royal a-hole and now you are out one more friend and OVER A GUY??? Hoes before Bros…don't ever forget it!
Let's see….what else? Can't think of much right now. I will try to be better and get a new blog up tomorrow also. I know that many of you cannot live without my anecdotes!!
